There are 14 stained-glass windows in the sanctuary or
auditorium of Judson Memorial Church, and 3 in the main stairwell. All but the
rose window in the chancel were designed by John La Farge between 1892 and 1910;
they were manufactured by the Decorative Stained Glass Company and Thomas Wright
between 1892 and 1915. The designer of the rose window is presently unknown but
may have been D. Maitland Armstrong, a contemporary and friend of John La
Farge’s.
Much of the information about the La Farge windows
contained in the referenced web pages has been graciously supplied by the La
Farge Catalague Raisonnč at Yale University.
