Wednesday: Renew, Refresh, Explore

Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. we meet to refresh our spirits with a simple, candlelit meditative service followed by an intimate discussion group. If you haven't been to a Wednesday service at Judson, or you've been away, we invite you to join us this Wednesday, April 18, in the Garden Room, as we continue a six-week exploration of the parables of Jesus. 7:00 - (or immediately following 6:00 service) - Stay for our adult education seminar, “Roots for the Uprooted.” We'll continue our exploration of the saga of Joseph and his brothers.

Note: the last Wednesday service is May 16.

Second Helpings

Second Helpings are lay-led activities giving extra ways of being in community. Feed your soul this spring by doing something extra with other Judson folks. Contact bethene.trexel (at) gmail.com to list your ideas for service, learning, fun, whatever.

The 12 Steps of Ecological Recovery - every week at 5:30 pm: Use the 12-step program to talk about living with ecological accountability and honesty in the modern world. In the Garden Room.

WEDNESDAYS
6:00 - Warm and refocus your spirit with a simple meditation service. We gather in the meeting room except on Bailout or Magic Time nights, when we'll meet in the Garden Room. [For this week's details, click here.]

7:00 (or immediately following 6:00 service) - Reclaim your roots in our adult education seminar, “Roots for the Uprooted,” co-presented by Community Ministers, Michael, and Donna. In February and March, we’re “rooting around” in the stories of our dysfunctional ancestral family’s struggles - with each other, with empire and culture, and with God. Sound familiar? It should.

8:00 - Bailout Theater is the 1st Wednesday of the monthy. Doors open at 7:00, free potluck dinner at 7:30 and entertainment at 8:00.
