The People's Voice Cafe
May 7th: Emma's Revolution
Known for fearless, truth-telling lyrics and melodies you can't resist singing, Emma's Revolution is the award-winning activist duo of Pat Humphries & Sandy O. Emma's Revolution writes songs about critical issues happening in the world and lends their voices to the movements those issues inspire. The duo are winners of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest Grand Prize and the Phil Ochs Award. Emma's Revolution has just released two recordings: Rooted, featuring new songs - the majority of which they've written during the pandemic - and Evolution, a compilation celebrating their 20 years as a performing and songwriting duo.
