PEER NETWORK PRESENTS KEEP HARM REDUCTION ALIVE & WORKFORCE CERTIFICATIONS

This year, our conference will focus on the history of harm reduction and the evolution of the various peer certifications & workforce across New York State . Our conference will include panels and presentations on the various peer workforce certifications and the importance of practicing the principles of harm reduction as peers who work on the frontlines of the drug war. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of the various peer certifications offered in New York State and the history of harm reduction and our collective mission to promote peace and love for those impacted by the so-called “war on drugs”

The conference starts at 10 AM doors will open at 9 AM where a light Breakfast will be provided. This will also be an opportunity to speak with the various folks tabling at our event and to network.

There will be presentations on various Peer Workforce Certifications and tables to answer quesstions. The history and start of Harm Reduction from OG's who started doing harm reduction in the early days of harm reduction to now. There will be a presentation on Drug Checking, its importance and findings and much more ALL IN 1 DAY.

A CONFERENCE PLANNED AND RAN BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Their will be CEU Credits provided
